Leadership Team

Mark Wilson, Founder, President and CEO
Mark Wilson is President and CEO of Ryla, Inc. Wilson founded the company in 2001.
Wilson’s philosophy regarding customer contact services is simple: provide “Excellent Interactions Every Time™.” His commitment to this brand promise has allowed Ryla to grow into a nationally recognized domestic customer support and contact center with state-of-the-art technologies, a Fortune 500 client portfolio, more than 3,000 employees and revenues in excess of $100 million.
Ryla has received numerous awards, including most recently being named the fastest growing private company in metro Atlanta by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the fastest growing company on Georgia’s Trend’s Mid-Market Fast 40 listing, one of the 5,000 fastest growing private companies in the country four consecutive years by Inc. magazine, and diversity supplier of the year by Verizon, to name a few. In 2009, Wilson celebrated the opening of Ryla’s Saraland, AL call center and regional data facility, making Ryla one of metro Mobile’s largest private employers.
Prior to founding Ryla, Wilson was a 15 year veteran at Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), the leading provider of global business information, where his career began at one of the company’s call centers. Over time, Wilson ascended to the level of Assistant Vice President and was ultimately tapped to manage one of D&B’s most successful contact center bureaus.
A native of Arkansas, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management at Wilberforce University. He is a member of the The Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and serves on the Georgia Kaiser Permanente Executive Advisory Board. Wilson was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year ® 2010 in the Alabama/Georgia/Tennessee region, and a finalist for the same in 2009.

Shelly Wilson has more than 13 years of experience in managing human resources and insurance programs. Prior to founding Ryla, she served in senior level positions for Synavant, IMS Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Shelly is a graduate of Howard University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree. General Organization Approach
At Ryla, we understand that a happy employee means they'll interact better with our customers. So we go out of our way to give our employees the tools they need to be successful. Every day, we work to maintain an environment that is upbeat, cheerful and professional, where employee contributions are not only welcomed, but also encouraged. For this reason, Ryla has a relatively flat organization structure that lends itself well to employee growth and motivation. At Ryla, we insist that the open door policy is a reality that we practice each day.
